MAF reset
« on: 20 February 2008, 19:56 »
This has happened to me twice in the last 6 months.
have inadvertantly started the car in gear! On both occassions this has reset the MAF to zero figures.

Anyone else had this?

hmmm, sounds like the Voltage of your battery is dropping to much when you try to start it in gear..... Voltage drops and wipes the MFA!

Same as if you have the lights on and try and start it in gear they go nearlly out (not that ive done this )

Would sound like the cause too me....

Hope this helps
