There is some sort of K&N cone filter set on mine for some reason... do you think this could be helping the engine stall/cutout?

its possable...if you have an origonal unit at hand then fit it with a new panel filter and see if it makes a difference

are you sure your not guessing now?? :p

actually, somone else said temp sensor on my thread too so it may well be

this controls the temp gauge and sends a signal to the ecu for more fuel... ive fitted several over the years and is a common fault... :smiley:

dipping clutch whilst going round a corner ?? that would be coasting pmsl try changing gear before you get there next time  :laugh:

temp sensors on all vw 's are a common fault lol

mk3 golf 1.8t ,280mm front brakes rear disc conversion,coillies.
