Hmmm... interesting this... my car is up for sale on pistonheads: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/270744.htm - its a pretty decent spec I believe.  Warranty runs out next month though

Price £14,450
Spec: Red
1.Full Leather Interior
2.Monza II 18inch Alloys
3.Tinted Windows
4.Xenon Headlights
5.Sunroof
6.Armrest with 6 CD Changer
7.Winter Pack
8.GTi Floormats

Had a bit of interest so far, thought I had sold it a couple of weeks back but the chap went for a mint 06 Astra VXR which was a few hundred cheaper... fair enough...

Any comments/observations on my asking price?

Only selling as I hope to go away for two months for a trip on the west coast of the USA, then when I come back buy an Edition 30 in white  well, either that or new Civic Type R GT.... or perhaps even an R32
Mk 5 GTi, Tornado Red, Leather, Xenons, 18" Monza II's, Sunroof, 6CD in Armrest, Winter pack & Tinted Windows... soon to be adding ED30 front spoiler, plus R32 sideskirts... then getting fully colour coded!
New engine fitted when car was at 27k... last one went "noisey".

"jap crap" - might of been the case a few years back, but now some jap producers build superb cars.  Toyota for example has eclipsed all the major car companies from a market capitilisation point of view... largely driven by the adoption of lean manufacturing principles and TQM... anyway I digress... fair point on the type r, the new one is a bit of step back compared to the old... but I still like the engine and the interior is funky

ED30 would be my preference saying all that... in white with black monza'a
