Hi Jay, good to hear there's a way forward.
Mistakes do happen, and that's frustrating, but it sounds like they know they're in the customer service business (which isn't always a given).
I think that VW should consider an email based customer order verification system.
The way it would work is that you give your dealer an email address, and when the VW factory gets the order from the dealer, they send an email to you direct, so you can catch any mistakes introduced by the middleman.
