« on: 29 January 2008, 13:58 »
just put small bumpers on my mk2 ... because i couldnt be bothered to get the black big bumpers sprayed, and now a pair of red big bumpers comes up for sale ... what do i do? keep the smalls or buy the big bumpers?

I love the look of both of them  :undecided:

if you love the look of both, save the pennies and keep the smalls. spend the pennies of something else for the car, like crystal lights or indicators etc...

smalls. save money and resist the urge which all mk2 owners have to horde parts for their car... just lately i cant help myself or stop myself from buying bits for it. got enough stuff in my garage waiting to be fitted to keep me busy for 6 months!

Have both if you have the room to keep a spare set. Change as and when you want to!

i think it looks better with the smalls

As for the comments about hoarding parts, i know that feeling to well, i have a collection of bits building up inside the car, around the car and in my spare room. I should really stop posting on forums and put some bits on it!!

I think with twin lamps small bumper looks great, your car looks really nice mate!

PS: if you were too sell the big bumpers, how much would you part with them for?
