Well i used to run an open filter with a cold air feed and it made a wee difference, but then i ran the cold air feed back into the airbox which had been modified and a decent panel filter in it and the inlet temps dropped loads, i know they dropped because i have my external temp sensor now plumbed into my inlet pipework.. ;)

some people have enclosed cone filters, and these with a cold air feed make quite a big difference to heat soak

How would I pay for these?

I have £20, but as a note. Would love to run one up to the intake.

you can either pay by cheque or paypal.. you can send cash through post recorded.. although they say you cant, if you put it in a card or something you should be fine..

i dont mind if you wanna risk sending cash through the post, a guy recently did and it got here with no issues, i know in the past people have lost money in the post, esp around this time of year, its up 2 you mate.

Might put it in my PayPal account.

Sucks, I really want them, but I don't have a Golf yet. My dad doesn't want to do anything to out Golf but parking sensors, but my sisters boyfriends mught want them for his Golf.
