I took my mk2 out for the first time in ages on Sat and as i came to some lights a modded red mk2 came the other way, i waved and he just looked at me as if i had gone mad! Its a good feelin when someone flashes or waves at you from another mk2

I'm another ex-Mini man. Always good fun to acknowledge others with similarly good taste.
Not much Golf waveage round my way either. I'll keep flashing/waving & see what I can do.

Golf GTI: good enough as it is

I don't wave or flash any other MK2's but thats normally because i don't notice them until it's too late, but I do nod my head if I make eye contact. That's if I do ever see other MK2's, don't have many my way

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

There are quite a few people round me with some tasty Golfs, so if anyone gets a wave form a MK2 Gti in black from in the South Manchester,  around Didsbury, Withington, Fallowfield area, please wave back

I love it when i'm in my Camper, we all wave and grin at each other
