How do you get to relays, i presume the fusebox slides down somehow into the footwell to reveal them?

i can just about get at mine with the fusebox in place, is a bit fiddly though!!!

Recently had the same cutting out problem, it was the e.c.u power supply relay, position number 3 on the relay plate, took it out and carefully took plastic cover off the relay, found that a couple of the soldered joints had cracked, causing the car too cut out. very carefully re- soldered all the joints, and no more cutting out, as it used too do it daily  .

is it the one numbered 30 on it?

is it easy to get the plastic cover off and are the cracks in the solder joints obvious to see?

i changed my ECU relay on 12th feb and it hasn't done it since (touch wood) so hopefully that was a simple fix!!!
