Back to the original question:

If you want to tune a German car you go back to Germany, as Germans are crazy about cars in general and their own cars in particular.

This actually sounds interesting.  Does anyone know if any engine internal modifications are needed?  Are these conversions reliable?  I'm surprised how they were able to fit a turbo and intercooler (albeit a small one) under the hood.

I wouldn't go for a 700 bhp version but the 400bhp one sounds tempting.  My main fear would be the extra stress on other components including gearbox, diffs, suspension, engine mounts, internals etc.  One would probably need to uprate most things.

Grab yourself the Volkswagen driver magazine for this month (as posted earlier :embarassed:) It is a five page feature.

Seeing one at Inters with 565bhp go down the 1/4 mile, beating a Gallardo is easily on the cards.
