Speed Camera Detectors....

Can anyone recommend me a good speed camera detector for my car please. Just something that does the job and isnt the size of a brick...

I just use tomtom and subscribe to a third party camera database.
Also I have a laser parking sensor in the lower grill of my car which is quite useful when I park up to a wall. Apparently it may interfere with the laser speed guns when they point it at you,,,, but I just switch it on when parking up against a wall...

I used an Origin B2, and found very accurate, and very few false alarms  (Heathrow perimeter was the only place the laser went off in accurately).

I've got a Talex one for £80
So far its been damn accurate
Purely a GPS system though
Although the screen as like that of an old-school calculator 
However its got voice warning and voice warning of overspeed that can be heard over music

The Talex database is at least 6 months out of date.

The original company went into liquidation in December. It has been acquired by a new owner who is promising the moon for 6p

I fancy giving them a quick call to see what the crack is tbh

i ues it every day up & down the A19 , the road angel compact + mobile detection , lazer guns , as the tees fly over is a bad spot as they sit on the slip road waiting for you as you carn't see the camera van untill you are driving past them I have had mine for about 12 months now and would recoment it 9/10 . only a 9 as after 6 months you have to pay to keep the unit upto date. I paid about £160 all in but you can find them on ebay for about £120

I used to have the snooper series very very poor .
have a look on this site as it makes very good reading and might help you out in what to do .. apart from driving with in the law  as we all do
