sunroof leakin

hi ppl sunroofs been leakin in the last few days.
soakin the sunroof liner and the sides on my roof liner

ive blown and pushed summat down my front drain holes. yesterday its still doin it

do they have rear tubes and how do i axcess them

my bloody roof liners starting to unstick

the 1 around the sunroof

abit shabby realy can c the white piping in areas. but i still thought my drain holes would cope with this.  the water has to climb a high way to get into the car
why arny my drain holes working   eerrhh

The seal doesn't do much to be honest, the water gets past and drains down the drain hole. Sort of what happened to me. Except the drainhole wasn't attached and the water went straight into the car. 

At work I got an airline and blew air straight in and lots of muck came out the wheel arch. Alternatively if you don't have access to compressed air, get a softish length of coat hanger, welding rod, etc and you can push it down the front holes. As for the back, they are hard to get to, to clean out thoroughly so i resorted to parking my car downhill all the time!

My head liner came unstuck over summer, i tried everything to re-stick it and nothing worked, even superstrong sprays, resins etc. You will probably have to get a new one.

cheers im a mechanic so  compressed air wont a problem dint work put some flexy thickish (thicker than welding rod) down my tubes and still no luck. been doin my best to park down hill to but i live on a 1way st and guess wot its a feckin flat road lol

another savage way is to seal it up for the winter till better weather. the rear tubes you can access by taking the rear bumper off thugh and then push a long rod up if that helps.

cheers simson   took the rear bumper off and unblocked the drivers rear pipe  FINGERS CROSSED
left the bumper off for painting so its kicked my ass in gear also sorted my rust out above my vw badge

fill the sunroof area with water and watch which corner takes longest to drain, plus check out the flow of water from the front/rear arches.  Also the front tubes pass thru a gap between the wing n chassis, often if the wing is replaced the hose gets crimped
