Lately I've been dreaming about having a MkIV R32 and doing turbo conversion on it. 400ps and 500+Nm, good for 4.2 to 60 HGP says...   13000 euro.

do it.. heh.... I do not have a dad who could spring for an R32...
So I live on with my E30, which I love, and do a remap a a few months. It won't be turboed R32 MkIV, but still good... (that's what I keep telling myself, even though I know I'd be happier with turbo-R32, but life is life...).

P.S. Still do not like the looks of MkV R32, that front spoils it all. MkIV R32 is beautiful!

But just think how much faster the mkV r32 would be than the mkiv if you made the same changes to it!! You can always change the grill. Since i got mine, going in the mkiv R32 has always been a bit of an anti-climax... looks great on the outside but once your in the ride is too firm and the dash/interior looks dated (excluding the seats)

Remember you would have to get it shipped from the USA(and prob have to pay tax on it) and a decent mechanic would charge you quite a lot of cash for fitting it cos it ain't a 5 min job.
Oh yeah it voids any warranty on the car also and most official dealers won't service it either.

You would be better looking at summet else for £30,000+ to be honest

Very true I know someone who had an EIP turbo conversion on his MK4 R32 and it cost around 8000GBP for the kit and 2000GBP to fit! A turbo conversion is not a small job. Mind you he had the biggest grin ever on his face when he took the piss out of many expensive 'fast' car's.
