but surely this is the age old problem of modding the look of any vehicle - what looks good today - may not look good in ten years time - and this particular Golf is certainly suffering from that.

Thats why I prefer not to do much other than lowering / bigger alloys. These are easily restored back to the original spec!

That looks like a GTi engineering special edition,if it still has its original engine that will be a flyer!Still looks nasty though ;)Theres a jetta near me with the same colour scheme which is a gti engineering one

Its the colour coded rear lights that do it for me brings it into the 90s unfortunately 10 years too late.
