Sorry Illyun, but that comment is a dead give away for those in the know

Nah, I'd need to get a Phateon to savour the (dubious) delights of that particular pastime.. its much bigger and more comfortable.

Plus you can adjust the suspension on a Phateon and make it even more comfortable

Lol.. sorry but I completely forgot about the original purpose of this thread

I just put my CC on full blast and attack it that way.  It is a pain though and I can't remember having this problem with any other model of car - well any other Mk of Golf, because apart from a couple of cars all my other 20 cars have been Golfs.

Sorry you're getting stupid answers rather than real help here Andre.

Do you find that this happens more in built up areas and slow traffic? I wonder if the Golf has an auto pollution sensor that switches the ventilaion to recirculation (as it does when reversing and using the washer jets). This could be the problem and may be able to be overridden using Vagcom.

If all else fails with climate control, vent direction and blower speed then you could try an anti fogging solution similar to those used on bathroom mirrors.

Try changing your pollen filter, on my MK4 when I changed this it almost never mists up now.
