Indicators Not Flashing

Anybody help with this one? I think the fuse box has got wet and the inducators when swithched left or right do not repeat. They just stay on. Also it's the same with the hazards.
Any one any clues? :smiley:

Yeah i thought that but don't know which one it is. Looked on that fusebox FAQs but couldn't make much sense out of it. :sad:
Any idea which one it is?

Aye, that will be the relay. Used happen to mine before I sorted out the leak. Youll have to get a replacement one,  either from GSF or your local scrappy.
Look at the fuse box cover to see which one it is or you can look through this:

(Mine is a 90 digifant and its on the bottom row to the right, cant remember which one exactly. Awkward one to get out)

Thanks mate. Will take a look tomoro and just keep un plugging each relay till the indicators dont come on at all. Then i will know which one it is. :smiley:

ive had a problem with my indicators recently. the indicator stalk was playing up, so would only work if i pulled the stalk forward a lil. changed it for a new one and now it works.

look on page 2 of the fusebox FAQ, its got a nice big pic of the front of the fusebox along with fuse/relay locations.  It even tells you what each relay number is further down the page ;)

alrite mate i had the exact same problem the relay is in the bottom right of the fuse box and is number 21 its the indicator flasher relay. mine burnt out due to some peugot driving and a small bump (doh!) but when i looked into it someone told me that water tends to leak down into the back of the fuse box and short out the relay either burning it out or temporaily making it uselss. if you replace the relay an still no luck try taking the box out and drying it out a bit first. oh yeh this was on a 1.3 1990 but i'm posative its the same for urs!

Cheers dude, thought it was that one. Spent Sunday morning scooping out crud from the scuttle tray that was blocking a drainage hole so hopefully no more leaks :wink:
