they suck, no imagination to them look like mk5 tdi wheels, dont shout class to me, rather economy.

How about something with no class, but costs a fortune.

they look good when the car is on the move..........try to get some shots of both alloys on the move and you'll see the difference

i have to agree there. When I first seen them on pictures on the net they looked cack. But having seen them in the flesh and had a little time to get used to them I have to say I am quite happy with them. the fact that they are easier to clean means the wheels look better 90% of the time anyway... Let me post some pics and you can decide from yourself

Any idea why VW has decided to change the wheels at this stage in the Mk5 R32's life as the Mk 6 is due out in just over a years time? Must be cheaper to buy them in or manufacture them than the Zolder's? They remind me of the Mk4 V6 4 Motions wheels and they'll be easy to clean - if not as easy as the Monzas!

I know that they are lighter than the Zolders and therefore make it slightly faster and improve reposnse and handling

I don't care if they even added 40bhp to the bl00dy car, I went to my local dealer today and they had a 3-door black R32 in the showroom with these new alloys and they looked shockingly shyte      If I hadn't notcied the back or front of the car, I would have thought I was looking at a Golf Match or something - truly horrendous.  What made it worse was that there was an identical black R32 parked in the car park outside with the older Zolders on and that made the difference even more stark.

i thought the same at first even going so far as to request a change over but then the zolder's look a bit 90's after a while

anyway, just thought i'd let you all know, i've been driving my car fast as possible around very tight corners
