At the corner of Mayplace Road and Barnehurst Road, 2 minutes from Barnehurst Station.

He's next door to the car dealers on Barnehurst Road

Took my Mk2 again last week for brakes on all four corners, a rocker box gasket change, sunroof repair and a pre MOT looksee. Cost me £190. Dunno if this is cheap but I'm satisfied with the work and he's a nice bloke.

Right booked in for yesterday for a pre-MOT check and I am absolutely delighted with the service I received from Dan, clearly a top bloke with great service.

He was honest and advised me well.

Thanks for the thread all - excellent.

Thanks to mongchops recommendation, i took my GTi to Dan, and he sorted my cambelt + waterpump and rear axle bushes in no time, and for a good price too!  :smug:

I would definitely recommend him too, nice guy, gave me some free advice on another niggle the car had too.

This is a brilliant thread. I live in Belvedere and I will be picking up my MK5 GTi this Saturday. My Miss' lives in Mayplace Road East so its only moments away from hers. Great to see so many GTi owners in my area too.

So im guessing the Beadles stealer/dealer in Dartford is no good?

Would you guys recomend going to Dan in Barnehurst for a service when it comes round to it, or would it be better off get a true VW stamp in the service book?

One last thing, if you see a Dark Blue 3 door 05 GTi driving around the area give us a toot.
Mrk V, GTI, 3dr, DSG, heated seats, winter pack, cruise control, rear parking sensors and now thanks to GizzyWizzy and SteveP in the MK6 section a RCD 510. Awesome!

Anyone got a number for this bloke, as I need my window done as the clip broke, just wanted to hear a quote, I did have a flick through the thread but can't see any contact info on him, unless I'm blind and missed it
