Just out of interest what does it look like as it begins to age?
I had an 8v years ago that had had the professional black dye used on the plastics. It looked great for a while but then started to look awful as the black coating started flaking in places.

i tried boot polish (kiwi tinned stuff) today but didnt work :sad:made it go grey for some reason. Im thinking due to the bumpers being damp in the cold
