Okay, let me explain...las tweek I topped up the car and reset the trip to zero. Today I have topped it back up and (unless my calculations are wrong) I've just had an average of 9.5mpg

Normally I do not check mpg, but I thought I'd do another "round my local" check. Now I admit that I live next to countryside, with sweeping bends, steep hills etc and my right foot does like to feel the carpet

, but an average of 9.5 mpg seems almost unnatainably low

74.1 miles on the trip.
35.49ltrs of super at 109.9 pence per litre

4.54 litres per gallon = 7.82 gallons
74.1miles/7.82 = 9.47 mpg
Or to put it another way 53p a mile
Has anyone else had fuel consumption like this?
