been looking on search and i dont think mine as one, mine is a 8v siemens hitachi.

It is the idle stabilisation valve. Put up a picture of the rhs of your engine and i will mark it for you.

done spark plugs, ht leads, dizzy cap,rotor arm,oil change, oil filter, air filter, and cleaned throttle body out.
took it for a long run and all seems fine,fingers crossed. thanks again matt

siemens dont have an isv...only the 2e engine bosch fuelled cars
