Rear Window Roof Spoiler

 I have noticed that some cars have a small rear spolier located above the window.

 Can..,

 a) Someone post some pictures of their spolier

 b) Where is the best/cheapest place to get one from?

Eurocarparts offer a copy of the VW (votex) spoiler for about ?70 (over ?100 for genuine one from VW). Note that wherever you buy one it will be supplied only in primer and will require painting to match you car.

FYI, most spoilers are bonded to the tailgate and/or glass and require no drilled fixings.

i got one from europarts for ?57 i think, but after some stupid quotes to paint and fit i decided to keep to the smooth 'euro' look and just change me badges and wiper, not bothered about the spoiler so i sold it!!!

Gents, is the item from Euro an OEM part? Or a replica?

Do the VW items have a notch cut out of them so as you can open the tailgate without it interfering with the arial?

Can anyone post a picture/e-mail of an OEM item fitted?

the one i got from eurp parts was a copy of the vw one and it did have the cutout for the airel but as i said i sold so no pics from me im afraid!!

Just bought one today from Nottm VW for ?84 all in. Has the round cut out as opposed to the "V" shape cut out. VW inform me that the "V" spoiler has a weakness at the tip of the "V" Comes complete with all fixings "Bonding" chuffed.

Got the job done yesterday and must say, Well pleased. Had to fit a new style Polo Aero wiper though to get the clearance. The Fabia wiper is now for sale if anyone wants it? ?10 sound ok for the complete jobby??
