Not really considering they WILL corrode, they WILL be the wrong offset and they WILL have a negative affect on the ride.

dunno about the tyers but £300 (ebay) sounds ok.

as for the remap i had it done by celtic tuning (google it) they actually came to do mine with a laptop. alot of people dont agree with this method but i have had absolutly no problems with 2500 miles!! also they claim to make it 265bhp but after a rolling road it actually has 258bhp! (still good) the best bit is its on offer at the moment for £350.

like the re-map wheels are something you should definetly notify your insurance company about....

check the offset of the replicas, unless they are ET51 they arent right and will affect the ride quality.

The Monza design is renowned for corroding and quickly! I bet you are only getting a 6 month warrany, ask yourself why! Ask yourself why they are only £300, compared to over £1400 at your dealer and even they corrode!

Therefore if you're going to buy wheels that are going to corrode anyway buy reps and save yourself £1100.... And if you get a wheel that's ET45 or more and notice an adverse effect on the ride you should get a job testing for peas under mattresses

What is ET51 or ET45 ?

What ET are the VW Monza's and what ET should the replicas be?

I thought replicas were exactly that - replicas of the original vw monza alloys or am i wrong?

How did the "Pirelli P Zero Rossos" compare on the test?
They cant be that bad can they. After all, they are the tyres that come with the Ferrari 360 Spider....
