My VW guy is brillaint. I dont call the dealer. I just email the head techie who works there.
He replied and I just had to give him the year etc. i said your car was a 2007 model and the polo (courtesey of teh I.T guys who let me use his keys) is a 2006 model. I explained to him and he is looking it up.

well its a simple thing but vw (well mine) r just sh!t.. lol

i just went out and took the front off mine to get to the badge, which, jeez was well stuck on and still couldn get it off. so left it at risk of damaging something, neway i got the PN: "1T0 853 601"

same as what the vw guy gave u?

eventually got through to the parts dept (useles fecks) cant give me part number... :-| but its £14.16

still rather buy cheaper on ebay :D

Our dealers are useless but yours are horrific! How do they sell cars?  :shocked:
I emailed the parts guy at ours yesterday and he replied instantly with the dimensions etc for a fuel filler neck for Dinx.
And i must admit. He replied rather quickly about the badge. But he seems to be busy now cos I still not got a reply for the part numbers.

my sales rep, when taking down my details asked me how to spell words.. like engineer... :s none of them knew what te highline computer was, i researched it and told them! took me 4 calls to get through to parts then to be told they cant give me part number.. useles.. lol

still ill wait on ur reply

....My VW front badge is 1T0 853 601 - It's now replaced by carbonfibre and is a desk ornament :grin:
