....Well done and styled as below the aircon is, I still think you want to be able to see the boost gauge at higher level so your peripheral vision isn't lost.
Gotta agree , unless the gauge has playback (now theres a thought lol) , the whole point is being able to see peripherally a temporary boost spike , or unusual behaviour. You tend not to read a gauge , but 'know' the general type and scale of sweeping it does.
If this changes , then somethings amiss.
for me a boost gauge is to
a) establish normal behaviour for the car
b) see the changes when its modded
c) check for the infamous boost valve failures/leaks!
