hair dryer shrinks the cotton.....it will then let dirt in. i wouldnt risk doing something like that, its gotta be left to dry naturally and in winter it takes while

The wire mesh keeps the cotton part in shape, so I can give it a quick blast, as soon as it's oiled up it's as good as new

blimey, still wouldnt do it myself, the metal may hold it but if it shrinks you will have larger holes in the cotton round the metal bits than what its supposed to have without even knowing it

iv always cleaned mine on evenings and left to dry over night
luckily they dont need doing oftern
