Nice pics but need the 18" Monzas .

I totally absolutely resolutely agree with that statement. Right rims make >>50% of the visual impression.

Get 18"-s soon!

whats the price of a set of 18" monza's and a good set of tyres?
........1k ?

Why not go for a set of black alloys and make a proper colour coded car

Max, don't listen to Hurdy. I've seen black-on-black GTIs, they are not that impressive. Silver Monzas, on the other hand, will stand out nicely against the body color, and will draw a lot of attention. You'll be much better served by standard Monza 18"s

i think black rims on a black car would look no so nice. Would make the car look like a big lump on blackness if you get my drift.
18" monza's are the way i think but i think they will set me back a fair bit with wheels. Unless i get replica's........

tbh replicas are good value for money as long as you look after them! i dont think they stand up to the eliments like the oem ones!  :undecided:

As with all polished wheels a thin layer of WD40 after they have been cleaned should seriously lengthen their life (to about 2 years  )

cool, i just use a decent car wax on the serface as it should be laquered! but i guess wd40 would be good when there is alot of salt on the road!  :undecided:

Its the laquer being broken down by salt that starts the corrosion of the wheel, specifically the whitew worm effect with the Monza wheels. You are right, a layer of WD40 during the winter months protects from the salt. Im sure a sealer of some sort for the summer months will be adequate
