LV quoted my £2082.64 fully comp wheras all my previous quotes have been nearer £2300 for third party fire and theft :grin:

£2k for insurance, you lot must be nutters with money to burn, why not get a 1.0ltr for a couple of years and then get the big guns out when your 19, save some pennies so that after those couple of years you can get a real nice car and not some old underpowered Golf.

I had a 1.1 Pop plus MK2 fester when I was 17, then a 1.3 astra, then 1.0 uno, I was in my mid 20's before I started on stuff with decent CC's.

You kids gotta have it all now now now. :grin: :grin:

just corrected that :wink: none of my mates has a 1.6 though so its a statement :grin:

Couldn't agree more, your paying crazy money. Had myself a litle POS clio when I passed and at 19 (almost 20) I boguht myself a GTi. Simple.

im 20 with two years no claims 1.8 mk3 driver, just me 480 third party fire and theft, all with quinn direct who are great for first time drivers!
