Myself and others have bought these in the past http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/single-blue-10000-with-resistor-attached-p-750.html?osCsid=e64d116ba8dc64c2a6e554667652b9b6

Some other help maybe http://www.vintagewatercooleds.com/tech/Techtips/ATStechnotes/clusterlights/clusterlights.htm

I drilled small holes through the black plastic, for the LED legs to go through the other side, then soldered them to the blades. Snip the LED legs where they just get through or you might find it hard to put the blades back on.

You can place it with the pins sticking up and actually push the pins out, or is it pull them i forget which way i went with it now, but i did that then soldered the bulb onto the contacts ad put it back in, infact i thikn i pulled the legs out, then fed the bulb down thru, sodlered and refitted it, somehow.. sorry its vague
