Tip.. get the tyres online and take them to your local tyre chainstore tyre fitting place (ATS etc..) on a saturday mid-morning. Boss has usually gone home and the lads might fit them for cash on the cheap. Usually costs me a fiver per tyre.

Are you fitting them yourself?  Just wondering how easy it is to do...  I'm sure I could (somehow) get the tyres on the rim, but I dunno how I'd balance them myself

looking on the mytyres.co.uk website, and its showing summer tyres for the size that i want, 195/45/15. are the summer tyres any good for winter use, considering the weather isnt the best at the moment

The Mrs had these on her C240. Not much grip in the wet, felt like you are on tip-toes, if you know what I mean.

Ok......so its a Merc.

185/45 15's on a C240 Merc. A bit like putting ballet shoes on a sumo wrestler innit
