Nah, I work in Leeds and support a number of websites (but I can't say which) so I am allowed to be on the t'interweb.

I'm not always on here, it just looks like it because I open my browser and sit on the site so it looks like I'm always logged in.

Born and bread in sunny Bradford  and bought a house in Horbury in September 2006 as the lass I now live with was renting over there and I liked the area so stayed. I did want to live in New Millerdam and found a beauty terraced house but it wasn't cheap (as you probably know) and it was the top of my budget and had very little parking, so having three dubs at the time and the missus car it was a big problem.

horbury's a nice place m8 got everythin you need few shops, bars and resturants from what I can remember but with a village sort of feel. Anyway back to dubs Ive always fancied a rallye prices seem to have shot up over the last 18 months for a mk2's and mk1's for that matter but Im a bit put off by the g60 engine Ive heard some nightmare stories about them hows yours been

Aye it is a nice place but I'm slightly out of the village as I'm down the road a bit at Horbury bridge. I do like it round there though. As for dubs, I felt exactly the same about the G60 engine having read this and that and at the end of the day it's an engine and can go wrong the same as any engine, but if you look after it you can try and minimise that prospect. The charger is supposed to be the weak spot, but as the engine, keep it looked after and service it and again you minimise the chances of it going wrong. The only problem that I've had (*gibby touches wood) is the alternator as the internals collapsed on it and and that was a brand new one from VW (over £250 worth ! ) that had been put on the car in the last 18 months by the previous owner. My point I guess, is that it's not just the engine that can fook up it's also other bits and they can be quite new so I say don't worry about a G60 any more than you'd worry about any other engine, just look after it and you should be ok.

Get a Rallye though if you can, you will not regret it and the smile it puts on your face when you get in it and drive it simply never goes away.

You can always have a look at mine when ever you want, I'll even take you for a spin in it, I may even let you have a go if you're insured !
