Manual for me! Parents have a DSG Eos, very nice and smooth, but can't beat the feedback you get from a clutch and manual box IMO!
I have also read that if you have a DSG box and are planning a remap, then the torque figures have to be limited to a certain amount, not sure of the details - I'm sure I read it on here somewhere, anyone confirm or not?!

The biggest reason for wanting a change when I bought ED30 was that I was bored driving A3 DSG & could not wait to get back to a manual.

Have to stay it is a brilliant bit of engineering and very smooth - but at the end of the day after 2 years I was desperate to get back to a manual box and give my left arm something to do.

It amazes me that manuals still exist. I've gone from an Alfa selsepeed to a BMW auto and now I have the DSG. If I get back into a manual now it feels incredibly old fashioned and clunky  When was the last time you saw an F1 driver press a pedal and stir a lever! Manuals give you 1% extra control 0.5% of the time when you have an open road

The DSG box is the best auto I've used by a long way, double clutches are the future!!

you cant beat that sound the exaust makes along with the turbo whistling with dsg!, brings a smile to my face everytime, its a no brainer, reliable, good fun, and can be used with a stick if u wanna feel like a manual. I would find it hard going back to any manual after having DSG.

Found it strange to keep my left foot pinned to the floor, also kept lifting off the accelerator when changing gear!!!
When I picked mine up I had to stop off for petrol (tight ass dealer didnt put any petrol in - shame on you motorprovider ) Anyway. pulling into the pump I subconciously thought I had to declutch and me and my bro nearly ended up through the windscreen
