ecu problems

hello

i was just about to go and view a golf that has a ecu problem and was going to swap mine over to see if that was the only problem, so ive just taken mine out but now ive put it back the car wont start! i cant hear the fuel pump priming but it turns over fine. have i broken it just by unplugging it?

terminals were very corroded, problem solved!
