FINALLY im VW again

Hi

Some may know ive been looking for a Golf for last few months with no luck.

Well a trip to sunny Gt yarmouth on Sat has changed all that. Found a 3 owner MK3 gti 16v with aircon and sunroof only 87k with full vw service record..... and its absolutley mint!!!!

Very happy, the only thing wrong with it is the ABS light came on a test run when we went above 30mph and stayed on until we re-started the car then went off but came on again when we went above 30mph so im guessing its just a sensor so they are going to sort it before i take delivery

This is what i got.

1. 2 new tyres
2. Full service (plugs, leads, filters, brakes if over 50% worn, oil etc)
3. Cambelt
4. 3 months warranty parts and labour inc. if the car is undriveable i can take it to my local VW dealer to sort at the garages expense
5. a few cosmetic things like a rubber grommit behind the petrol cap is missing and a new parcel shelf
5. 6 months tax
6. and and and half a tank of petrol

for £2950

Very happy.... cant wait to get it now

Got to get an alarm fitted though as it doesnt have one.... been offered a cat1 Gemini for £300 fitted

Getting a Gemini Cat1 fitted whilst they are getting prepped this week... so its all ready for when i pick it up!

the first thing to go is the stumpy radio arial..... looks pooh!!!! going back to OEM and then im gonna keep my eye out for some 16 inch BBS. I just like the OEM look!!!
