NEW CAR
« on: 20 July 2007, 23:49 »
Getting a Lupo GTI tomorrow - 54 plate, 1 owner, silver, 26k miles, only one in the country with climate control... its for the wife of course     But she's going to Jordan for a year in 4 weeks time     so i'll have to keep it running on occasion.  I'm sure it'll look nice next to the Edition 30 arriving in October.  Pics soon.

Nice work that man

The wife had one of those and yes, it is a lovely little car. Same colour as you are getting too. it got more looks than the MKIV GTTDI I had at the same time :embarassed:

Sounds a nice car Illyum, but begs the question why, if she's of for a year, have you bought her a car

Yeah right, good excuse - we know its for yourself really?!    They must be pretty nifty.  Whats the spec on these cars like?

6 speed gearbox
125bhp
weighs less than a tonne
Aluminium wing for better weight distribution
Twin centre exhaust
0-60 in less than 8 secs

And I can say from experience that it goes like stink and handles brilliantly.
