Isn't the steering and suspension left as standard on the Edition 30?

ARB's are supposedly beefed up (larger diameter)
Where did you read that Hurdy?

Over on UKMKIV's forum :embarassed:. Someone was wanting to upgrade his ED30 and arbitrarily found out that the diameters are different.

ED30, seat leon cupra, S3, Audi TT DEC07 onwards have the same engine bar the intercooler, only the S3 has the greater mass cooler, the engines are very different to the standard GTI engine, i wont bore you but even the con rods are strenghened,
These alleged changes have been thrashed around on this forum for a while now but nobody has any real substance to their claims. Where have you got your info from regarding engine, suspension and steering modifications to the Edition 30?

Please explain in a little more detail Stan.
About the engine,
I did this before the ed30 even came out, I even wrote into a few VW specialist mags to correct them, and posted on most the forums out there. I went to the lengths of going through and getting the part numbers of the engine internals and posting them on a couple of different forum at least to show they were different and what is shared between the 3 models (there not exactly the same) and the standard GTI motor and what is not.
SEAT has even stated in there press release of the cupra when it first came out whats different.
Infact i got so sick of having to proove it all the time i gave up even bothering in the end.
As for the suspension & steering i never checked if it was different or not.
