I try and stick to shell all the way, if going on a motorway journey I run V-power for the extra bit of poke and also the feul system cleaning aspect of it.
The 2 may be myths but that's what I do at the moment.
Mind you still sh*te mpg as I still don;t know what is causing it :(

I use the Millers Diesel cleaner, can't say there are any obvious bonuses to using it but i'm going on the fact the it must be cleaning the fuel system so can only be a plus.
Supposed to give you a bit of oommph also but can't say I feel a noticable difference if i'm quite honest.

put some injector cleaner through before i filled up with 15 ltrs. as well as having the fuel filter replaced on my 17mile trip home i saw my magic 70mpg by the time i got home lol.

average speed of 40-60mph, averaged 62mpg goin around today for work.

still got my new MAF to fit so might see a increase still but im glad my mpg has increased from barley geting to 50 (due to filling up with city diesel which my car has never drank before) so back on the esso stuff and all is good :)

Is Bio diesel something that can be used in the TDI 150 PD or can it cause damage ? Scanned through the topic but did not see this answered.

Also if the clutch has just been changed will it be able to take a remap or will it fail ?

i used bio disel for 40 000miles in my 150 pd theres no difference in performance sonly slightly less mp (47-48mpb @ 80mph) as appose to around 53mpg.... i changed fel filter every 10k though ..... but it was only 88p a litre
