What tyres
« on: 17 July 2007, 09:52 »
What tyres are you guy's running on trusty steeds? Am cheekily running some old race rubber at the moment and is extremely interesting to drive in the wet on those motorways so I was thinking of 195 / 45 / 15 eagle F1’s on 7.5” wheels. These any good?

Cheers

im running 195/50/15 Toyo T1-R's. really good grip all round but the wear rate is pretty shocking tbh.

195/50/15 yokohama's - ruined due to scrubbing.
Soon to be replaced by something 185/45/15 flavoured

I think its fair to say that you'll have to go a long way to get a better tyre than a Eagle F1, I was thinking of trying some toyos but I've hear'd that they wear quite quickly  :undecided: but you get what you pay for !

Just put a set of 195/50/15 Eagle F1's on my 8v.
Awesome tyre, grips like brown stuff to a blanket !!
Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music.
