Looks lovely to be honest, but how on earth did you manage to get a break in the weather long enough to polish your car.

Nice nice

But IF this paint were available on Ed30... still would not choose it.

Also, those mudflaps DESTROY the look, whatever good they do! They make GTi into a GRANDPA'S car.

Crucify me, but I'll never ever change my opinion of mudflaps on a MKV GTI! THEY MUST BE GOOONE!!!!

But, hey, it's a family car, and Phil loves it, so good on him!

Well the photo's got me wanting to do mine, sun came out so 1st chance to give the car the clay bar treatment, since I got the car 4 weeks ago.

Washed
Megs clay....on its last legs after today
Zymol cleaner wax
Detail...usual tyre and trim stuff
VW leather treatment....good leaves the leather a little shiney so see if it soaks in

And a picture of my wifes car from 18months ago, didn't keep it long, listended to the hype to much and jumped in and bought it. Wife hated it and I never thought it was that fast, traded from a ST170 which was nothing but bother, so have no photo's, car best forgotten. GTi in my opinion is miles ahead of the CTR.

And a car that was really nice, 325i sport, but way to thirsty and twitchy particularly in the wet...

GTi is the best car I have had as an all rounder.

I don't think BMW are overpriced. They are priced just right for a brand of SUCH caliber. Cars are compared to a beemer almost all the time, that means something. They have great sixes, the 8 in old M5 was praised to the sky and so is the 10 in the new M5. They have great drive (when it is not wet and the engine is up to par).

GTI as an allrounder is unbeatable though.
