Limited supply of the new Forge DV at Awesome 0161 776 0777. Speak nicely to Sarah and say Robin sent you. £131.58+vat.

I'm booked in for installation next week, also with some pipework mods. It seems that most of you UK guys don't do much modding.

....Well, we are all different but I too fail to see how a DV is chavvy - It's the spacer (a different component) that makes that phwoooosheee sound that many find chavvy. I think I would just find the sound irritating after a while. DV stands for Diverter Valve, not Dump Valve. Our Mk5 GTI engines have recirculating valves.

A heck of a lot of development has gone into the Forge DV and it's been thoroughly tested from the cold of Finland to the heat of Bahrain, and on some very highly modified 2.0T FSI engined cars.

....Will do, Russ .

The only 'problem' is that I'm installing SAMCO Turbo Hoses plus Neuspeed Turbo Hi-Flow Discharge and Intercooler Pipe, all in the same session as they all fit together and they open up the discharge 'line'. The Neuspeed components might make a difference to performance. I'll see if it's practical to take the car for a short run after just the Forge DV is fitted. I'm running switched to stock ECU at the moment.

I'm not expecting a significant performance gain from the Forge DV but reports across the pond in the US of A are suggesting that boost response is improved. I posted some lengthy info from Forge on the Tyresmoke thread but that site is currently very flakey so I can't get to it for you right now. The main thing is that it's far more robust than the VW version.
