I spoke to the reps at Inters on Saturday. The Ed 30 full system will be more like the S3 system with a larger bore all the way from the downpipe through to the back end. The Standard GTI and the S3 systems were on display side by side at the show and I could see a considerable difference in the whole diameter of the system from end to end. Even the exhaust tips were slightly larger

as it should be, since already from the factory the pipe is 4mm wider on 30 compared to GTI. The turbo is larger, as we know, so that's why.

The tips will be 90mm, I believe, instead of 76mm. I think they will look awesome!!!
Can't wait when the system is developed...

P.S. I have ordered Eibach Pro-Kit and Eibach rear anti-roll bar to be installed by my dealer before I get the car.  :nerd:

Hmm....You'll have to let us know how the car feels with the Eibach's fitted. I guess you'll not really be able to make a comparison as you'll have had them fitted from new :undecided:

Actually, now I'm wondering if I even should install ARB, and if yes - then both front and rear.  :undecided:
Is the suspension absolutely the same on GTI and Edition 30?

Now that's another conundrum!

I've heard that the ED30 has uprated bushes, but it hasn't yet been proved either way to my satisfaction. The general concensus is that the suspensions are the same in both models.

They must have done something with the handling of the car, it feels better and harder on the road then the ordinary 200ps GTI.

I'm gonna go for both ARBs (thanks to RedRobin for clearing this point up) and Pro-Kit springs.
I will not be able to compare, true, but my dealer fits all the parts, and the dealer is a long time certified ABT tuner, so I feel they'll do the job right.

I only hope ARBs are not a waste of money, in the sense that factory-installed ARBs may be of the same thickness!  :undecided: I hope not.
Eibach ARBs are 26mm front, 23mm rear.
