Brilliant day

The weather on Saturday didn't spoil my enjoyment at all. All the cars on the stand looked great and the W12 was superb (pity I didn't get to see it motoring )
Sunday looks like it was even better and pictures posted on the forum simply cannot replace actually being there
Buzzed down the 1/4 mile and ended up with this

Chuffed to say the least

And before anyone says anything......it was 0-60 and not 0-6mph

Had a great day on sunday just a shame about the mud. Seemed to have quite a hectic day flitting about the show and didn't really have time to relax and chat to people unfortunately. Managed to get a couple of runs in on the 1/4mile but that took 2 1/2hours out of the afternoon what with the massive queue to sign on then the massive queue to run. Both times me and my mate in his VR6 somehow managed to work the queue and end up running together. I managed a 16.795 and a 16.806 his were about 15.8's

Martin........Was that Andy's mk1 I saw dead on the M11 on the way home???

LOL yeah, he ran outta petrol!!

I thought it was a superb weekend and it was nice see a few familiar faces as well as meet a few more of you, i would have liked to spend more time over at the stand but cos we had a HIC stand and i was supposed to be working it kept me a bit busy.

The camping/campsite was certainly an experience, music pumping almost all night and some plonker doing handbrake turns upsetting the farmer (not a good idea when most cars where getting stuck and relying on him too tow them out), still got drunk and had a laugh though!

Back at work now, very tired and sunburnt, will post up my pics when i get a chance!

Martin
