In any case, I thought it depended how you wrote the CD? If I want to listen to MP3's on my RCD300 I have to tell my CD writing program to convert the MP3's to CD format?

An MP3 capable stereo should be able to play the songs as MP3, aswell as converted to audio format.  The whole point in an MP3 stereo is that you can squeeze about 10 albums on 1 disk still in MP3 format - and the stereo will play it!

Our RCD500  does not play MP3's..... though i not really tried yet.... :evil:

Buy a Dension Ice Link plus cable off ebay, use part of Docs instructions in fitting a nokia car phone kit (part one) and connect your ipod to your head unit. Your entire cd collection at the press of a button for an afternoons work and £80. I did it and i'm useless (she's told me so often, i now accept it!  :undecided:)
