Just found this fourm - Great to see so many ED30 owners!

Mine is on order, will collect at plate change on the 1st Sep - The wait is killing me already!

I test drove just about every car out there and the ed30 was the best all rounder by far!

I'm new also.

Could only afford a basic GTI, but afterdriving one just had to get one.  I've only had it for a week and I love it.  Will mod it later.

The normal Gti + Leather was the same price as the ED30 - Managed to get almost 1k off the ed30.

Did take alot of hunting tho.

A very long summer =] will be worth the wait tho =]

You did well to get 1k off! not many people i've heard of getting discounts on ed30's. It will be worth the wait, trust me, and the half leather/cloth seats are great - who needs full leather!?, my mom collected her new EOS on wednesday with full cream leather, and I don't really rate the quality much - not for what it costs. Enjoy the wait anyway mate! (half the fun!)  :rolleyes:

1st of Sept !!!!


I just don't think I would be able to do it. I'm off to Newquay (from London) on Thursday and CANT WAIT for the nice long drive and this is in a little MKIV, let alone waiting for an ED30 to arrive.
