250, 500 or 1000 metres. I have it set to 500.
yeah it's worth it.
if you never leave your town then no, but if you drive on roads that you don't know then I'd say it was worth it.
The blackspot feature is nice too. Aparently speed camera detector users are far less likely to have accidents cos of the avoided sudden braking.
