Looks similar to the damage caused to my MKV GTTDI when someone reversed down one side. That incident cost "only" £850.

There is already a thread on the damage to my car.

That cost £200 so I don't know where they got £1300 from.

I suppose they may be thinking of putting a new door skin on, but I still think their having a bubble bath.

My sentiments entirely... I had two quotes, Listers bodyshop was about the same. (£1050+vat)
It is actually a bit worse than it looks as the sill is dented, as is the drivers door and the rear wheel arch is scuffed.

The insurance company have been excellent; Elephant.co.uk. I've got protected no claims but I expect it'll go up regardless... I'll find out in July when it's time to renew. :undecided:

I've never driven a Beetle, I know my other half fancies one (I'll get a flower holder for her 206 if it comes to it?!)

The b!tch is back... and looking good.
A week with the Fiesta has taught me one thing... The Golf GTi is the dog's b0110x.
As I pulled away from the garage I nearly gave myself whiplash... Smiling loudly again.
The only one gripe I have is all those smug gits in their ED30's. Maybe one day eh?
