suspension

Anyone tried spax RSX suspension on a Mk3, My VR6 suspension has had it and I thought I might upgrade to adj. coilovers, Spax seems to be the cheapest, but is it any good?

well I know spax are ok esp the RSX range but if you have the budget H&R coilovers are very desirable, they offer a superior build quality and better adjustment from what I have read, might be worth looking into...

You could try the Raceland coilovers that just got a mention in the mk2 forum section. They are certainly the cheapest coilover set up I know of.

Cheers, think I saw them in 'The Golf' on a feature car, wonder what the build quality and ride quality are like?

No idea I am afraid. I remember reading somewhere about  Raceland stuff being something else under a different brand name but can't quite remember the details... :(

Other choices are the classic AVO coilovers for mid 500 quids or the SuperSport stuff. That seems to be very popular - it goes for about 450 a kit.
