Well chatting with Ess-three he puts forward valid arguments about valve size versus cam lift and I should be able to achieve what I want without bigger valves.
Would be nice to have though and at only an extra £320 its nothing in the scheme of things!

Flippin heck! These engine upgrades are a minefield!
Do this then you need to do that as well!
Hmmmm might have to revise the budget! upwards!

With the power I'm hoping for I will need an LSD oh and then of course the gear ratios are wrong........
Then of course the brakes and a decent clutch!
(NO! Not a feckin Sachs!)




Oh and then the problem of finding a diesel crank!
Wish I could afford $1400 for a high spec 100mm!
Oh well keep searching!

I have a 1.8T in the Passat which is getting some more work sometime so why do I want one in this?

Its not the final cost, that will be whatever it is, when I decide to stop spending!
Just means it wont all happen overnight, or rather instead of say 3 months it will now be 6 months minimum!
