I don't really do anything particularly for VW drivers. But I try to be considerate, letting people out and stuff and the 1 car rule is good but it annoys me when you let one car through and the car behind pushes it's way through as well.

When it comes to VW's I do tend to vary according to the car. I recon 60% - 70% of Mk4 and Mk5 Golf drivers aren't really dub enthusiasts and even higher for Passats as they are often company cars.
But when it comes to Mk1/Mk2/Mk3 they are much more likely to be dub enthusiasts, and the older the car the more likely it is. So I tend to be more helpful towards them. The same for old Beetles and campers.

I spose, I was raised on Dubs, (we had a Mk1 Golf, a Derby, a Mk1 Jetta and a Santana) so I guess I link dubs with good family values, but then that goes out the window when some idiot has driven his Golf through a branch of Maplins, Halfords and a plastic bin factory with is eyes closed.

I wave - I still cant remember how to flash in my golf and end up putting the windscreen wipers on like a fool,  Or opening my delocked boot!  So I gave up trying! i usually let in enyone either in a fast car or someone who looks like they would drive fast! ie NO NISSAN MICRAS OR OLD FOLK ... sorry, but there is nothing worse than getting stuck behind someone doing 25 in a 30!!!!

my philosophy exactly. if i think you're going to drive slower than i want to, which is about 98% of the british motoring public, then i aint letting you out.

Lol! I was following one last night doing 35 in a 50.  We approached some lights and at 200 yards out they went red - only for the micra to slow down a bit to say 20 and then carry on throught the lights.  PMSL

No stopping this guy and the great thing was he force white van man into giving way.  When I caught up again the driver must have been 90 and he was almost sat on the steering wheel

^^ Last night drving home, I was coming up a slip road so accelerated to the 70mph speed limit and pulled onto the A road behind a crappy old astra doing about 40! And there were 3 modified saxos having a "spiried drive" up the fast lane so I couldn't pull around him right away!

After a bit of swearing and breaking all was ok, and I was off after the saxos - but I'm sure these people don't realise by driving at such a low speed on such a fast and nearly empty road they're causing a major hazard.

if I am in a good mood then I will let people out, mostly if its VAG.  never let Mercs, BMW or 4X4's out. or people who look like they cant drive. i.e family wagons!

I used to wave and flash at other dubs all the time but I dont bother now as i usually just get ignored or funny looks!
