Well here's my 93 Cabrio:
Bought it a few weeks ago with FSH and a genuine 57k, body is mint no rust at all but has a few small knocks on O/S that seen it cat c'd 3 yr ago and sat around sorn since, going in bodyshop next week to get sorted.

And then I started, so far it has coilovers, single headlight GTI grille, GTI A pillar deflectors, 15x7 Alujet rims (plan to paint the centers black or sell/swap them for ATS cups depending on funds), crystal headlights and a new hood very soon in black.

Will update once it comes out the bodyshop .
UpdateWell after getting it home and stripping it down it was clear that the front leg had moved  and the bumper had been bodged on using wood inside the leg to align it so a buyer would not see the obvious misalignment.
A local lad has a Caroliner Jig with all the required clamps, data sheets etc so it is now in his capable hands (great guy and I cant praise his work enough) .thumbup. popped around tonight to have a chat about what he has had to do etc.
couple pics of work in progress.
Before (don't look to bad but the leg was over by about 2" and bonnet gaps etc slightly off) I was going to fit a new wing and front panel but was advised against as the entire car is 100% rust free and original.

Before he goes to work with the body file:

Couple of it on the jig:

Great guy and would feel confident leaving any motor with him, he's worked in the body repair industry for many years and in various restoration specialists so understands the connection enthusiasts have with their cars.
Should have been in the paintshop but due to the unforeseen work that was required it won’t be dropped off there until Monday.
