What would you do with a Cab
« on: 28 January 2004, 20:48 »
I know I am going to leave mtself wide open to the smartarse comments here with replies of - bin it, scrap it, sell it, etc. But, here goes;

I really fancy a bit of a change with the look of my cab now, I have the euro wheels, and stretched tyres, trying to line up some coilovers at the moment, but I could do with some more input from you guys. Its not exactly Snowballs Open Air Ferrari Eater, and I'm not all that bothered about the performance, so a few ideas about changing the look might be more up my street - so if it was yours, what would you do to it?
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

I thought about a de-badged grill, but I like the twin lights, so it would be a case of making my own if I want one. (besides, the crystal are only about 6 months old)Unless anyone knows of a manufacturer?

I reckon I could keep the chin spoiler with the coilovers, but just means I would have to avoid all speed bumps, but the centre box would definantly have to go - only have 3" clearance now!

I'd start with getting that lovely recaro inerior re-trimmed in finest cow! If you wanna turn heads whilst parked at a show, roof down, there's nothing like a full on leather interior.

Plus, it being on the inside, its one mod that you always benefit from when being in the car ;)

AdamB, as a single headlight older style ragtop driver I have to say you're not going to get your car looking much better without a paint job and change of identity (body kit). The red you've got now with twin headlights etc etc suites the car and personally I believe suits you, if you want to restyle your car I think you need to spend a lot of money and do a total facelift. It's a good car to do it on-solid base. If you've got the wonga go for it- give us all something cool to look forward to, you know you'll get plenty of advice here!!
